Mohamed Tawfiq, CEO of Hospitality Services at ACT, announced that they achieved 50% growth in revenues during the past two years, despite the exceptionally difficult circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. Thanks to the company’s strategic partnership with Oracle Hospitality, they overcame the repercussions of the crisis to continue supporting existing and new customers and remain the technology partner of choice, by offering technology solutions that fit the current situation and needs of all customers.
In response to the covid-19 crisis, ACT launched the “ACT Cares” Program to support its valuable customers in the hospitality sector, including hotels, food, and beverage companies. The program ensures that all operations continue seamlessly under the most difficult conditions that could negatively affect any of the hospitality sector businesses.

Last year, ACT started offering top-notch applications for hotel management, procurement, and human resources, such as the leading enterprise solution suite for the hospitality industry, OPERA Cloud. wit open architecture, built-in integration services, and open API, the application offers an intuitive user interface, comprehensive functionality for all areas of hotel management, secure data storage and hundreds of key partner interfaces to meet the needs of hotels of all types and sizes. The application orchestrates hotel operations, manage guest preferences, manage room inventory and rates, and evolve constantly all while keeping data secure.
ACT also introduced Oracle Hospitality Materials Control, which is a comprehensive procurement, inventory, and cost-control system that provides essential data, including the cost of sales, effective revenue, stock on hand, order proposals, and stocking requirements in real-time.
Moreover, ACT presented Oracle MICROS Simphony POS, which can be used on fixed and mobile devices and supports operations of all types and sizes, from global hotel chains to independent hotels, casinos, and resorts as well as MAESTRO ACT HRMS, the multi-property system, which allows creating many properties in one database and view consolidated reports. Finally, ACT also trained tens of engineers who have obtained Oracle certificates as part of large joint projects.
