For 35 years, he's been the driving force behind the company's success. In 2016, he ascended to the position of Chairman, cementing his leadership in the organization and all its lines of business (LOBs). Hassanein's strategic insights have propelled ACT onto the global stage. He shapes the company's vision, strategy, and direction. Under his guidance, ACT has expanded its horizons from a single partnership with Compaq to collaborations with over 20 renowned global ICT providers. His unwavering commitment to excellence has led ACT to establish representation offices in key global hubs, including Dubai, KSA, Africa, Australia, France, and Morocco. He's transformed the company into a capable international solution provider with a commanding presence and substantial market share in the Egyptian ICT landscape.

Hassanein's passion for Egypt and the ICT industry goes beyond business. He collaborates with decision-makers to support and nurture NGOs that advance the ICT sector, including EITESAL and the Chamber of Information Technology (CIT). His dedication to the industry's growth is further evident through his active participation in prominent organizations, Canada Egypt Business Council (CEBC), the Italian Chamber of Commerce (CCI-Egypt), and the Egyptian-Polish Business Association (EPBA), American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham). Additionally, he serves as Chairman of the Information Technology Committee in the Egyptian Businessmen Association (EBA). Born in Minia, Egypt, Hassanein's accomplishments in the ICT sector were so profound that he was nominated to represent his hometown in the House of Senates. As a Senator for Minia governorate, he actively contributes to nationwide legislation, promoting the growth of the ICT industry and ensuring IT infrastructure accessibility for all. Mohamed joined ACT in January 2018 as the Strategic Management Consultant to support the organization improve its business performance by creating real added-value opportunities and maximizing growth. Prior to joining ACT, Mohamed acquired renowned experience in the technology field. His career includes 15 years at IBM Saudi Arabia in different positions, ending his tenure there as Professional Services Manager.

In 1997, Mohamed joined ACT as Operations Director, playing a key role in the company’s growth at the time. After two years at ACT, he moved to Vodafone Egypt as Network Operations Director, spending 12 significant years there. In 2005 he was appointed as the Chief Technology Officer at Vodafone, until he left the company in 2011. He was also a member of the Vodafone Global Research and Development Board for five years. Currently, he is Management and Telecom Consultant with assignments in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE and UK. In addition, he is the Chairman of Vodafone Egypt Foundation, board member of the National Telecommunications Institute and other business organizations. Mohamed graduated from Cairo University’s Faculty of Engineering in 1979.

As Secretary-General, he oversees governance processes and provides leadership for the NGO. Assem's enduring dedication and leadership underline his position as a prominent figure in the realm of ICT consultancy, substantially impacting both ACT and the broader ICT sector in Egypt. In addition to his impressive career, Assem has been actively involved in several key ICT Committees functioning in the Egyptian market. He has played a crucial role in shaping the industry by participating in the ICT Committee for the Egyptian Business Association (EBA) and the ICT Committee at the German-Arab Chamber of Commerce (AHK). Upon graduation, he transitioned into a full-time junior service engineer in the Customer Support Department. Since then, he has held various managerial positions within the company, starting from Senior Marketing Manager for Applications, progressing to Business Development Director, and ultimately assuming the role of General Manager for ACT Middle East in 2018.

Before joining ACT, Maged served as the Regional IT Manager for IHG Group in the Middle East Africa. His tenure with IHG Group, from 1996 to 2003, encompassed diverse roles where he was responsible for crafting project plans to implement a range of hospitality and hardware solutions in hotels. His responsibilities included providing invaluable consultation to hotels on integrated systems and communication aspects for potential and confirmed projects. Maged also took on the critical role of reviewing system performance and providing support to ensure the adoption of best practices aligned with the highest IT standards. Maged's journey with ACT began right after his graduation in 1991. However, he later ventured into the hospitality industry to further his career. Hisham has played a significant role in establishing various services and project operations during his tenure, including creating a Service Desk following ITIL best practices. This Service Desk provides 24x7 technical support to the company's extensive customer base. Additionally, he established a software development unit, which laid the groundwork for ACT's expansion in the hospitality industry and its foray into the software development industry. Hisham's dedication extended to building essential capabilities in response to market demands, and he meticulously trained teams to adhere to the highest global standards, enabling them to deliver ACT's hospitality services worldwide. Hisham had a solid ambition to extend ACT's services beyond the local Egyptian market to the global stage. This initiative began in 2002 by opening communication channels with partners worldwide to showcase ACT's services and competencies. These efforts were successful, and Hisham played a crucial role in implementing a large project with Micros-Fidelio England (now Oracle Hospitality) to convert 80+ hotels to the Opera PMS. He has a vast experience in financial management and strategic planning, financial accounting and reporting, cash flow management, supply change management, compliance, control and information technology management. He has held several positions in Xerox Egypt with different capacities as Director of Finance, Head of Manufacturing and Supply Chain, Internal Control, Head of Business Transformation locally and internationally in the MENA region. Sherif’s business resilience allows him to make continuous improvements to programs with adaption to business model changes and implementing business transformation plans. He holds a bachelor degree in Science from Ain Shams University and he is also a certified black belt leading complex improvement projects.

Dina Abayazeed is the Director of the Human Resources Department of Advanced Computer Technology (ACT), In her current role, Dina is responsible for leading ACT’s overall human resources strategy, talent acquisition, leadership development, Gender diversity and inclusion, organizational design and cultural development. Dina began her ACT career in 2003, as a marketing professional and over those 20 years, she took on positions of increasing responsibility including Marketing Communication Manager, Head of ACT Human Capital, Business Operation Director of ACT International. In her Human Resources Management role, Dina has successfully launched and implemented new initiatives introducing a learning and development academy (ACT academy), Leadership Development program (LDP), Gender Diversity awareness and reverse mentorship programs in ACT. Graduated from Faculty of Commerce in 1995, she has been involved full time in Marketing communication management, Organizational development, Human Resources Management, Talent Management, and strategic planning.

Through the years, Dina has acquired comprehensive Organizational and Marketing development experience in diverse workplace environments. Her experience lies in organizational diagnosis and the design and facilitation of large-scale events and staff development activities. Dina is an advisor and a professional coach for young professionals, driven by a relentless passion to help young leaders get what they really want, in business and life, Dina’s coachees come from a wide range of industries. Farouq firmly believes that corporate governance is a collective responsibility and is dedicated to instilling the spirit of corporate governance throughout ACT. He aims to make the company's resources, strategies, and mechanisms accessible to all members. This approach includes quality assurance, fraud prevention, managing corporate and legal risks, navigating governmental regulatory issues, contract management, supporting company investments, structuring new entities, and overseeing court cases and settlement processes. Before joining ACT, Farouq gained rich practical experience managing in-house legal departments at leading private firms. Here, he had the opportunity to negotiate and conclude multimillion-dollar software and IT contracts. One of his significant roles was his leadership position at Huawei Technologies, where he served as the Legal Director for the Middle East region based in Dubai. Farouq's impact extends beyond his professional roles. He has authored and published a series of legal books since 2001, including titles such as "Software Law," "Software Contracts," and "IT Contracts." After the Dell acquisition of EMC, he led the Professional Services for EMC products and based on the successful results; in 2019, he was asked to integrate and lead the Integrated Professional Services Team for the entire product portfolio of Dell Technologies. Before DellEMC, Sherif was Technical Services Manager for Egypt and Levant at then HP for 6 years. He managed the delivery operation for Egypt and Levant which included new systems implementation projects, break fix and Services Sales. In that role, he managed to build a strong customer focused team that have supported the growth of the HP Enterprise systems while growing the services business by 3.5 folds and growing the margin through upselling value services and introducing new high value services. Prior to HP, Sherif presumed key roles at Pyramid Technology Solutions, Kodak and Xerox. He has consistently improved delivery times and service levels whilst successfully reducing costs and excels at strategic planning, building high-performance teams, project management and implementing best practice methodologies and continuous improvement programs and has led successful and world-class business transformation programs across his career. Sherif graduated from Ain Shams University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
